Solenoid connectors and cable plugs Form C (15mm) according to ISO15217 are available in both standard and LED versions, both classified as IP65, ensuring protection against dust and water spray.

LED Version – Protection Against Voltage Spikes:
When the current through the solenoid coil is interrupted, momentary voltage peaks can occur which, under unfavourable conditions, may reach several hundred times the rated operating voltage. Although these transients normally do not cause problems, they can impact electronic components such as relays, transistors, thyristors and integrated circuits. To maximise component lifespan, LED versions are equipped with voltage-dependent resistors (varistors) that protect against these voltage spikes.

All solenoid connectors and cable plugs with LED functionality include this type of circuit protection as standard.
