Pneumatic Solenoid Valve (SS series)

Application
This inline mounted valve is used to operate a double acting cylinder. It is a 4-Way, 2-Position, 5-Ported, single solenoid pilot operated, maintained contact, air and spring return, and can be serviced without disturbing piping or wiring. Recessed non-locking manual override is standard, locking overrides available. They also may be used for 2-Way, 3-Way, and dual pressure service.

Operation
Single Pressure At Inlet Port “P”:
Solenoid de-energized (at rest). Inlet pressure port “P”,
connected to outlet cylinder port, “02-BLK”. Outlet cylinder port “01-RED” connected to exhaust port “RED”.
Solenoid energized (actuated). Inlet pressure port “P”,
connected to outlet cylinder port “01-RED”. Outlet cylinder port “02-BLK” connected to exhaust port “BLK”.
Dual Pressure At Ports “RED” And “BLK”: May be used for dual pressure with pressure at ports “RED” and “BLK” with higher pressure at “RED” port. Exhaust at
