Telepneumatic

Telepneumatic is Parker's range for pneumatic logic control, components that control sequences and signals using compressed air, without electronics. It is typically used in machines where most actuators are already pneumatic (cylinders, air motors, blowers etc.), and where a robust, uniform solution provides high operational reliability.

When do pneumatic controls make sense?

Choose the control principle based on the system's "main energy source":

  • Pneumatic control when the majority of functions are pneumatic.
  • Electrical/PLC when the majority of functions are electrical.

Typical Telepneumatic components

Telepneumatic includes valve terminals, logic elements (and/or), timers/pulse generators and counters. The purpose is to ensure that each step in the machine's cycle is only released once the previous condition has been met, for example that a cylinder is in its end position before the next valve is activated.
