SSD Drives was founded in 1974 as Shackleton System Drives (SSD) and became a world class manufacturer of AC and DC drives. In 2000 Parvex became part of SSD Drives, and SSD´s product range was therefore expanded with servo drives and motors. In 2011 SSD was bought by Parker Hannifin.
