Airtek 

Parker Airtek is a well-known name in compressed air treatment, with roots dating back to 1969, when Airtek started as a manufacturer of rotary screw compressors, aftercoolers, and separators. Since 1973, the focus has been directed towards equipment for drying and filtering compressed air, and in 2007 Airtek became part of Parker Hannifin. Today, the products are part of Parker's filtration program and are widely used in industry and automation, where stable air quality is essential for operational reliability and equipment service life.

Product Range for Drying and Filtration

The Airtek range typically covers:

• Adsorption dryers for low dew points, where moisture is not acceptable (e.g. instrument air and sensitive pneumatic systems).
• Refrigeration dryers for general compressed air supply in production.
• Water separators for removing condensate and protecting downstream components.

Choosing the Right Solution: What Should You Clarify?

To select the correct compressed air treatment, you should as a minimum know the desired air quality (e.g. per ISO 8573-1), flow, operating temperature, and where condensate typically occurs in the system. This makes it easier to specify the right combination of dryer, separator, and filter stages.

Parker Airtek is known, among other things, for energy-saving solutions such as Energy Saving Smart Cycle® and Cold Trap® technology in selected refrigeration dryers, which can contribute to lower energy consumption and more stable drying, particularly under varying loads.
