GlobalCoreTM – Innovative spiral hoses for your hydraulic system from Parker Hannifin

GlobalCoreTM – a simple system that makes it easy for you to choose the correct hose

At Hymatik we offer a wide range of hydraulic products. We are proud to offer the GlobalCoreTM products from Parker Hannifin. This range consists of five hoses and two fitting series. The hose series are: 187, 387, 487, 722, 787 and 797. The fitting series are: 43 and 77.

The GlobalCoreTM system makes life easier for OEM and MRO customers. This is achieved through the simple system of choosing correct hose for your applications based on the application working pressure. This means that a given hose series has the same working pressure in all dimensions. E.g. series 797 is available in sizes from 1/2” to 2” with a working pressure of 420 bar.

  • GlobalCore 187 with working pressure 70 bar in sizes 1/2” to 3”
  • GlobalCore 387 with working pressure 210 bar in sizes 1/4” to 2”
  • GlobalCore 487 with working pressure 280 bar in sizes 1/4” to 2”
  • GlobalCore 722 with working pressure 280 bar in sizes 3/8” to 1”
  • GlobalCore 787 with working pressure 350 bar in sizes 1/4” to 2”
  • GlobalCore 797 with working pressure 420 bar in sizes 1/4” to 2”

GlobalCores unique properties

The revolutionary and innovative GlobalCore hose design means that the hoses have a bend radius which is half of conventional hoses. The high flexibility of GlobalCore hoses make installation and routing of hoses much simpler.

One of the major advantages of the GlobalCore system is that it uses one-piece hose fittings which ensures an optimal crimping process. Furthermore, the need for skiving the hose is eliminated.

Even in markets where interlock hose assembly are required (normally skived hoses) Parker’s GlobalCore along with fitting series 77, are approved for Interlock hose assemblies, but without the trouble of having to skive the hose. The hose system is based on the specification of the ISO 18752 Standard.

GlobalCores hoses can be used all over the world

Compact spiral hoses meet the requirements to support the most common industry working pressures. The hoses are robust and long service life in rigorous and high impulse applications.

GlobalCore is available in three different rubber cover types:

  • Standard Cover
  • ToughCover: 80 times more abrasion resistant than the Standard Cover, providing increased abrasion resistance for applications in demanding conditions. (on stock at Hymatik)
  • SuperTough Cover: 450 times more abrasion resistant than the Standard Cover and offers unparalleled protection from abrasive environments.

The spiral hoses of the GlobalCore series are produced according to the same ISO 18752 specifications by Parker’s hose factories in Europe, North America and Asia. Therefore, the hoses can be used regardless of where the customers hydraulic system is produced, ensuring global uniformity and safety of delivery.
