Baldwin Filters

Baldwin Filters was among the early players to highlight just how much correct filtration means for operational reliability and service life in vehicles and machinery. The company was founded in 1936 and is today a recognised part of Parker Hannifin.

Filtration for many types of equipment

Over the years, Baldwin has continuously expanded and refined its range to match the needs of a global market. The products typically cover filtration within:

  • Air filtration for engines and intake systems.
  • Fuel filtration where cleanliness and water separation can be critical.
  • Lube oil/oil filtration for stable performance and reduced wear.
  • Hydraulic filtration to protect valves, pumps and components.

Development, testing and OEM requirements

Baldwin takes a systematic approach to product development, including the use of modern 3D CAD in the design phase. The goal is filters that meet or exceed OEM specifications, which is why the filtration solutions are designed and validated in technical test centres with extensive testing of both performance and durability.

Suited to demanding operating environments

The filters are often used in tough operating conditions, e.g. on-highway transport, construction/off-road machinery, mining and forestry/logging equipment – as well as in industrial, agricultural and marine applications, where stable filtration is essential for high uptime.
